    Question I'm a Dad?!

Hey guys! I have a pair of Blue Cobra Guppies in my thirty gallon. I recently planted it and was just sitting around looking at the fish and just having some me time when I saw a tiny little guppy! I took out some of the water from my tank into a 2.5 gallon bucket and caught the little guy. I have never raised fry before. He is probably half the size of a tik tac. What should I get this guy for food? I have some freeze dried brine shrimp for my SW. Would that work? Any suggestions?

Any good quality fish flake finely crumbled should work.

Why remove him from the 30?...any other fish in it that might consider him prey?

Can you get us pics of the m/f guppy adult pair?

    Sure!

I removed the fry because I was scared of maybe the parents trying to eat him. I know that is quite common and a the reason why the parents are often separated from the fry. (any input?) I also have two Goldfish.

    Here are the pair:

I'm surprised you've only had one fry sighting, guppys breed like crazy, but if there's GF in the same tank, then all bets are off, lol

They have breeder boxes or netting that you can leave in your tank and keep the little guy in there and he'll be protected, that way he gets heated and filtered water.

Congrats on the fry! They are so darling, nice looking momma and poppa.
