Hungry Betta
I brought my Betta home yesterday from the pet store. (Petsmart) I fed him last night, and he ate normally. This morning, I tried to feed him, but he didn't even try. He keeps going up to the surface, grabbing a mouthful of air, then goes back underwater and blows bubbles. Is this normal, or is he hungry? How do I know if Sushi (Betta's name) is hungry or not?
Please help!! I do not want to lose Sushi! He is my first Betta.~Ntreri~

It's completely normal. They breed air!
You don't have to start worrying just because he missed one meal ;-)
