    Default goby stirring up trouble

    0 Not allowed!
I just got a watchman goby. I love the fish, but right away he started stirring up the sand and clouding my water. I have only had him a few days and maybe eventually things will settle down, but I if it does not, I dont know what to do. The fish store said if I can catch him I can bring him back, but that will not be easy. I have a small 29 gallon nano cube tank, and the water was always a little cloudy anyhow, but now it is hard to see the rest of my tank. Has anyone else had this happen? Will things eventually get better?

haha i clicked that link, and then clicked the pistol shrimp link in the article and read this line:

"You should never purchase a shrimp goby without its corresponding shrimp. Likewise, don't purchase a tiger pistol shrimp without also purchasing its goby."

shrimp goby being all gobies that have symbiotic relationships with shrimp

That's normal behaviour for the goby, it's what they do. Question is why is your tank cloudy most of the time and how deep is the sand? Are the rock structures solid?
