Yea most natural aqua settings have all kinds of plant material and wood falling into the water creating nice dark colors. another bonus of the tannis is alot of fish feel more comfortable so there colors become more vibrant!

We never make fun of anyone here at AC by the way...

Educate sometimes but never tease or ridicule.

Ah, we used the same web source on IAL. :P

Seriously though Slap, Alpha gives good quality at good pricing. Should at least check them out once when you need some more.

    Lol, obviously

Good write up on the benefits of ANY leaf litter can be found with a simple Google search

I've tried other local, native leaves but TBH, IAL's have the research to justify my purchase of them

Plus, they break down so perfectly within my tanks....after 4-5 weeks, I can simply lift the vein skeleton remnants out, and replace with a fresh IAL

Other leaves have made a mess for me

I have leaves everywhere... but the fish seem to like them for hiding; especially the cories. I wanted the full effect of them so I went with a pretty heavy dose.
