    Update #2

Decided to jump start the cycling process with seachem stability, I have heard great things about this product. So to help "feed" the nitrifying bacteria I went ahead and purchased three male fancy guppies since this is going to be a guppy tank. I am testing the water once a day and adding the stability as directed. I did a 30-40% water change today because I needed to drain some of the water to plant the plants I received in the mail. Everything is looking good except for the water is still cloudy so I also bought seachem clarify to see if it works.

The more chemicals you add, the more you complicate the cycling process, I'm sorry to say.

All you need for s successful fishless cycle is ammonia, a test kit, and patience.

Very true I just thought I'd see if this stability is as good as everyone says. The fish seem to be doing great they are all acting like my other guppies.

So quick update, tank is doing great, fish are still healthy. did my weekly water changes on my other two tanks and squeezed one of my sponge filters into some tank water and added it to the aquarium. reading were better today still a tiny bit of ammonia and no nitrites and about 5-10 nitrates.
