    The Wet Spot.
I have also never kept a QT tank...well I tried it once and lost more fish in QT than I ever did simply releasing them in my tank. So i won't try it again. Now when I release them I will treat the tank with a dose of prazipro and Dr. Tim's first defense.

I second the vote for the wet spot. I bought my first batch from them add did not use a QT, as slap said above, they quarantine fish before they sell them. I even bought some oto cats which are notorious for having a terrible survival rate, and did not experience a single loss (I lost one much later for different reasons). I am putting my most recent addition in a QT because they come from a breeder. Since I don't know much about his operation I decided to put these in a QT. If they had come from TWS I probably wouldn't have done it.

I am not planning on keeping the qt up and running permanently. Once the fish are in the display tank I'll strip it down. In fact, I didn't even buy a filter because I am not planning on keeping the tank running. I made a filter at home because I only need it to last a few weeks :-)

Once fish are in the display tank, the qt goes into storage, and I'll have my desk available again :-)

I also buy from The Wet Spot (TWS) and have lost a very few fish out of over 60 bought. I have not found a local fish store near me that I trust and every time I go into Petsmart I see dead fish floating. The shipping costs out way the risks IMO.
