Boy, March was a doozy of a month. (teacher life)

The tank has been thriving! The green neons have gotten so much bigger, and my pearl is such a joy to watch.

I have 25 RCS coming from a seller on AquaBid today. I’m a little nervous that my pearl will make dinner out of them, but I’ve got a lot of cover. I’m going to throw in new IAL’s and feed before introducing the shrimp. Any other suggestions?

    Tank looks great!

Love my green neons too, how many do you have now?

I've kept pearls and thick-lipped gouramis with shrimp, and have had no issues whatsoever, should be just fine

I have over thirty, but it’s impossible to get a solid count. I added 25 to my originals. I haven't found any corpses since then.

Thank you! I’m very pleased with how it has turned out since the substrate overhaul.

These little guys got added in yesterday, and boy are they fun to watch! The babies disappeared into my plants almost immediately, so I hope they are still hiding in there. The big guys like to hang out on the leaves and hop around. So cool.

Yes, shrimp add a whole other dimension of interest to a tank, IMO

I love RCS, I don't have any neos left (my angelfish ate them), but when I just had the rams, the larger females would often be out in the open picking and cleaning, chilling on plant leaves, I always thought they looked lije mini cooked lobsters. Wish they were a bit larger, but if I can get away with them again, I'd love to see the activity and interest in a tank again.
