    Default Procambarus clarkii

I have kept several kinds of crayfish throughout the years. But one of them is the procambarus clarkii. Had them in white, orange, red, brown and ghost. They're beautiful creatures and depending on the individual characters they have, they can be combined with fish as tankmates. But if you're not sure enough about yours than keep them in a species tank.

You'd better put them in a tank with less plants. As long as they haven't reached a length of 1.5-2 inch, they're quite peaceful but after that they tend to be more aggressive. But also that level of aggression is purely individual.
