Will do. So far all fish bought at this LFS have done great. If I was to get Julii or false Julii, would that work too?

Yes they would. But just get a good number of each fish(i.e don't get 3 julie and 3 bronze corys and expect them to school)
When everything goes without a hitch its only then do you realize something is wrong

I will just stick to the bronze then. Don't think my tank will support another school of fish. I am right at the limit once I get another two bronzes. I don't want to overstock. Have two dwarf gouramis, six harlequin rasboras, seven neon tetras, and four bronze cory cats. Leaving room for their growth.

Good thinking...a few more corys and you'll be fully stocked, I agree.

IMO, you could get 4 more Harley's and the Cory's and be alright ;-)

Four Harleys would be sweet. I will see. I enjoy coming home every night and sitting at the tank for a few minutes. I feed them and make sure they are doing good, then just sit and watch. Very relaxing after a day of work. I exchanged my micron filter cartridge for a clean one and discovered the old one after two weeks was not that dirty. I will keep the two week rotation, but its nice to know if I had to go another week I could.

I agree, my favorite way to unwind at the end of a long day is sitting and staring at my tanks.

Careful with messing with the filter, as you know...dirty or not, you are potentially throwing away a thriving BB colony when you exchange cartridges.

It's why I'll always avoid them, and use tank-water rinsed ceramic media instead.

My thoughts are that my BB should be mostly established elsewhere by now. I am sure I might be losing some, but been checking my water and so far so good! And I absolutely love the how it cleans the water. I don't mess with the c nodes in the fluval C3 filter and rinse the foam pad in tank water. However, that being said that is good advice!
