end of the world?

me and a friend watched a video on the end of the world, and it was a bit disturbing.

it said that in 2012 the world is going to end. 3 nuclear warheads will go off, and earthquakes, tsunamis, floods, tornadoes, and hurricanes will occur.

i searched it, and in various places 2012 was said. there were also some prophecies on it, just like some lady a long time ago had a prophecy saying "a boy who will change the world will be born soon", and it was jesus.

if the world does end in 2012, im going to be pretty mad dying young.

I watched the show last night on the Discovery Channel, quite interesting really, especially how the year 2012 kept coming up. I take things like that with a grain of salt though, I find there is some truth to prophecies, but it has alot on how one interperts them.

On a side note, anyone remember the big thing about the millenium? That was so much fun, I remember driving around and laughing at all the people buying generators and supplies because all the computers were going to crash and such. I laughed even harder 2 weeks after the change when the same people were trying to return all the stuff.

i also read that people thought 6/6/2006 or 7/7/2007 were going to be doomdays, but that was only a few people.

i would pay $1000 right now to see what it will be like in 2013, to see if it really happened

Cocoa, I'm a little older than you, and in my lifetime the world has been going to end a couple of times, but usually that date comes and go's and they come up with another.

Besides, if it ever does happen, we are not going to know about it, so don't let it put a downer on you, if you are happy when it happens, you will just go out happy, and never know a thing

I think its bull, i mean maybe natural disasters can be predicted, but neuclear warheads??

7/7/07=777, a extremely lucky number. lots of celebrities wanted to get married on that day

hopefully it wont happen and people will laugh at this thread in 6 years

and what happened on jan 1, 2000? absolutely nothing. that was predicted to be the end of the world too.

I dunno.......there could be a prediction out there that is right...but i'm not going to rely on any of them as a real date. I think whenever it happens, it happens. And hope to hell whatever the cause, its quick and painless. lol
IMO, the end of the world started when the human race started killing one another. Basically it started when it began.
