I ve a 45 g tank moderately planted. Heavily overgrown atm. Current fish are 4 anamolochromis thomasi 10 neons 4 Beckfords red pencil fish and 2 Daisy's rice fish. Can never find their eggs and am giving up on finding fry parameters are pH 6.5 dGH 4 and I'm keeping it at 78 for now. Just looking for something cool and a little different to add. It still seems kind of empty. Oh and one clown pleco.

No idea what an anamolochromis is, but have you considered Corydoras?

uploadfromtaptalk1431214270791.jpg. See it needs fish. My phone takes bad pics. The water isn't that cloudy but there are plant bits floating around ATM since I finally trimmed them.

Would you consider one of the larger tetras? A Red Blue Colombian school might look nice? or a school of bleeding hearts?

I like the red blue tbh but thought they were hard on plants? I will consider just about anything that shouldn't have a hard time evading the thomasi when or if they pair up.

I know the Buenos Aires can be tough on plants. I'm not sure about the RBC Tetras, but it wouldn't surprise me if they munch plants.

Well I added some croaking gouramis to round out the top. Going to call this my round the world tank. Never had these cichlids or gouramis before so if anyone else has info is always appreciated.

I didn't have much success keeping Flame Dwarf Gourami's.

I do however love my two Spiney Nose Eels - and Kuhli Loaches - Doth bottom dwellers

Some cool schooling fish are the Pacific Blue Eye Rainbows and Celebes Rainbows - Both very attractive imo
