How do you get those little images?

Those little cute images of fish, beer, etc. I received two as gifts (a pleco and an angelfish) but am wondering how one gets them and how to give some as gifts? Oh and what they are, what they are called. Thanks.

You can "buy" them for other members, or for yourself...you earn points by posting and doing other things, then use those points to buy the gifts

Top of the page, 'Forum Shop", then choose "Give Gifts"....use the dropdown to pick a gift, put in the user name who you want to give it to, and leave a brief message to them
