Snails in a fish bowl
Hello all,
I'm very new to keeping fish. I just bought a fish for my new office. Its a betta, and he is in a 1 1/2 gallon bowl. I want to get a snail to help keep it clean, but I'm wondering if the snail will crawl out of the top of the open fish bowl? I really don't want a snail loose in my office!!! LOL Thanks for the help. Depends on the type of snail but it is a very real risk that you get a snail loose in my office ;-)

It will crawl out and then crawl everywere. When I had fish bowls I was not recomended using snails to keep it clean for that reason.
