Oh I believe it. I'm not even a native speaker, and I often find myself explaining English terms to native speakers or, worse yet, correcting their grammar.

Yes I agree, spectacular, its consice, detailed and specific but readable, perfect for the layman or laywoman to comprehend..

Joking aside, I think a moderator needs to make this a sticky too. Great job Goldie

Fantastic write up! I especially like the additional information regarding kh during cycling, this is often overlooked but has a direct impact on the cycle

    Nice write-up

Can you post your references please ?
If you take your time to do the research FIRST, you can successfully set-up and keep ANY type of aquarium with ease.

Well written and easy to read/understand. I'm glad it was made into a sticky for it is deserving. I'm just glad there are people like you that enjoy this type of research! Saves me from having to do all that.. Lol. I'm more the "Ooh, something pretty and sparkly! Gimme!" type. And then I look to the research-y types to tell me if I can have it and what I need to do.. Lol.

This is an incredible amount of info. I am still searching for a very very very basic guide to cycling. I love the info in this thread, but this is all very new to me so it is still a lot
to take in. I think I need a step below LAYMANS TERMS on this topic to start out lol.
