    Looking very good!
In a couple of months, once the plants have "grown out" a bit, you should let us see some more piccies!
Currently: Spotted Blue-eyes, two species of Australian shrimp, Ornate Rainbowfish, Guppies, Corydoras, goldfish.

It is a possibilty your fish could get sucked into it. At my tank in school I put a black strainger thingy on my filter so nothing gets sucked into it.

Thanks for the complements. I'm already itching to build a bigger tank but thats going to be a lot of work so i'll stick with this one for a while.
why not it will be cheaper in the long run instead of buying plants and running the risk of them dying

i always cut and replant my plants i know where they have been and i know they will survive in my tank

Good job! I would leave the roots hanging off. Also, I don't feed new arrivals until the day after I get them, plus, you're tank is very new so you should feed very little for a few weeks. Also, you can put a small sponge (make sure it is meant for aquariums!) on the intake tube.
CORRECTED video of my fish. This link works. For sure. Really.

    Tanks:
20g long: 4 panda cories, 1 honey gourami, 1 apistogramma borellii, 1 male cacatuoides
    20g High: 3 bolivian rams, 12 rasboras
    8g hex: empty
    5g: empty
