Silver Arowana Tank Mates

jman..that isnt going to be easy for me..lol i do get attached to the fishes...yet all of the ones i have will grow big one day....when that time comes i'll let you know. . lol i do have a friend whos got a 300 and a 500 gallon tank and basically for the time being i will enjoy them ,the only good thing i guess is that they will be better off in a larger tank and this way i can just raise some more baby ones ..my arrowanas will stay with me tho!

my stepfather also gets really attached to the fish sometimes he keeps fish to they die like he's doing now with his south american cichlid tank.

i just wanted to correct myself on the fact that i do not believe Pacus would make good tank mates for the arowanas at all....they are better off by themselves as there is no need to stress out the aroawana should the water parameters go off wack..which is a good possibility since pacus are dirty fish and as they grow bigger they will foul the water much more

well diddnt se the use in tarting a new thread now for arowana tank mates would an african lung fish work? i have one from a local breeder its about 4' long and they are supposed to be good with aggresive fish
