So I have a 29 gallon i just got yesterday night. The tank stand is that fake vinyl wood so I cut thick cardboard into the shape of the top. I decided to paint a tribute to my first fish ever that are currently in my 10 gallon, the ones that got me started 😍😍. The grey ones are my 3 Penguin Tetra (Rico, Skipper and Private). The yellow & black is my Gold Doubloon Molly (Ponyo) and the little ones underneath her are her 4 fry. FigLo29 is the name of my tank. My 3 first letters from my last name and my bfs first 2 from his last name. And the 29 is for the tank size. Well, I hope everyone likes it and think it's cute.

It's going as a top base for the stand. The aquarium is going on top of it.

That's what I thought you meant. So are you going with a bare bottom tank so you can see it or wasn't that the idea?

I see. I didn't realize the the painting was larger than the tank.

Quick tip: before you set up the tank, go to hobby lobby or some craft store and get a cheap piece of clear, hard plastic (sometimes they use this for framing photos.
If they don't have separate sheets, then get a poster frame, take the plastic sheet out of it and use that. You just need to get the same size or bigger
than your painting. Then cover your painting with the clear plastic before you set the tank on it so the painting won't get wet when you do water changes or whatever. It will also protect the top of your stand.
