My two bamboos used to be elusive, too...now, they both hang out on a crypt in the front of the tank, good flow there with the Eheim and the AC70

Yeah, always wake up worried about that, but that won't happen anytime soon realistically. I do have the other tank I can move him into, will calcium supplements have a negative effect on frogs, since they absorb a lot of nutrients through there skin? I'd like to keep the calcium supplements to my 20 gal. tank just because it would be easier to manage in one tank and all my fish would benefit.
... I'll keep monitoring their sizes.

Yeah, I thought mine would do that.
One time mine was clinging to a branch as I was removing water, and the branch just kept drooping more as the water line dropped. He didn't respond at all, I even shook the branch a bit to see if I could get some life out of him (I thought he could have even been dead) but no response.

Me neither, these were caught in the wild too like a year ago and I only recently found out what kind they were.
I'll do some more research, after all I don't want to put my shrimp in a tank where his risk of getting eaten just increases.
