    Default 2 different medicine?

Hello everyone this is my situation. I have a couple of angel fish in my 125 gallon tank that have a bacteria issue. I went to the petstore and they recommended to use the All-In-One Remedy and on the outside of the bottle it said treats 180 gallons so when I had asked if I only needed one bottle to treat my tank he said yes since it said that on the bottle I know he was very busy and did not notice and I didn't notice until I got home that the dosage it says on the back on the bottle to do 1 tablet per 5 gallons each day for 5 days. So I called the store and told them to make sure I was reading it right and so with that being said I need to put 25 tablets in there for 5 days and that ends up being a total of 125 tablets and one bottle only has 36 tablets so I would have to go buy three more bottles just to complete the full 5 days. That is too much money. So my question is if I only did the 1st day with the full 25 tablets and then today the rest of the bottle which was 11 tablets can I continue with another kind of medicine like Melaflx maybe? I didn't know if it was harmful to use one type of medication for two days then switch to another? But I really don't want to end up spending $64 just for the other because it is $16 a bottle. What do you all think I should do?

I would not start to mix different kinds of meds right now. There is no telling what kind of bad things could happen. I would continue with the one you started following the directions

If that first med doesn't work then I would suggest a few very very large water changes (like 50 to 75%) followed by adding some carbon to your filter for a day. If the symptoms still remain, then I would suggest a treating with Paraguard. I have never had much luck using melafix to treat anything. I have always had the best results with Paraguard
If you take your time to do the research FIRST, you can successfully set-up and keep ANY type of aquarium with ease.

Ok I will stick with the one kind I started on. Thanks for the advice!
