Female Red Cherry Shrimp
My male Red Cherry Shrimp swim all over the tank going from plant to plant and to the sponge on the filter intake. They are very active but my females pretty much just stay on the plant leaves and walk around. Every now and then they will swim a little. Is this normal behavior for the females or could there be something wrong with them?

I completely agree. I think the femlale cherries feel it is not "lady like"...

lol - Not lady like. Well, I'm glad that's normal because this is my first time with shrimp and I was starting to get a little worried. I really enjoy watching the male shrimp swimming everywhere in the tank with their little legs (I know that's probably not what they are called) moving all around.
