    Question Dwarf Gourami Black Marks

    gourami.jpg

I have a Dwarf Gourami who developed some black marks near its gills and on its belly (lower part).

It also spends all day hiding in a corner behind the filter and does not eat.

Could someone help me to identify what it has and how to cure?

    Thanks

Never seen marks alike. These fish will become blue/black under there when in mating-mood, but this is something different. It does look rather poor though. Could be Dwarf Gourami Disease. Have read a lot of threads about that but never seen the black marks. Don't think you can help this fish though. Sorry !!

Take the fish out of the tank. You dont want the infection spreading.
When everything goes without a hitch its only then do you realize something is wrong

Are you sure it is a disease which can be infected?

Also, the most important - what sickness is this and how can it be treated?
