Was gonna add: I agree with Nat about the plants in back. Their height lends a softening effect to the tank. I really like this aspect.

Thanks!...they get a little wiggy after a while, but easy to cut back, and they pop right back up...whatever they are, lol

They are crypt spiralis! My mom calls them ribbon plants lol. They do look like ribbons underwater actually! I thought I lost my plants, they died back with hygro angustifolia blocking them, but once the hygro started doing poorer, I moved it out to another tank and 5 or 6 crypt spiralis plants popped up! I've had them (transplanted from another dismantled tank) for probably 5 years. Those crypts!
I always loved black phantoms as well. Haven't had them in years! You are masking me really consider them again!
I like the coconut caves Matt :) Looks good with plants on it. Sorry about your cory though.

Wow, it's been a year since I posted here, did not realize that
@Boundava, the gouramis have been in this tank for about 2 weeks now, and they seem to be changing color...what we thought were juvie honey gourami may actually be a color morph of the dwarf gourami....what are your thoughts?
Sorry for the crappy quality

Looks like the "sunset" variety of the Honey gourami, red variant. Comes in a couple color variants, those "dwarf" gouramis usually have patterning on them.
Pics below courtesy of a google search...

Variants including a "nuptual male (-ready to mate) and image of female.

This may be a possibility too; flame dwarf, but has more pronounce profile than Honey's

I am thinking it is a red sunset variant of the Honey because of its solid coloration but will have to see it may grow to be a flame dwarf gourami which won't be all bad, they don't all want to be psycho killers.

More than happy to...
Plus I am not really feeling like working today, the crazy state of the world today is making it hard to focus right now.
