I found the perfect little algae scrubber on amazon. It was only $2. Most of the ones i found around town were $5+ and it seems to do the job just fine :)

Added a moss wall experiment to my tank. I think it will look great when it fills in.

So i have learned a lot from my first little 10g tank, there has been some tragedy at Hogwarts, and check out how great it looks now.

Firstly Dumbledore was searching for horcruxes and was cursed with an incurable fungal infection. The Fungus cure antidote (i think) killed the clam, which put ammonia in the water and killed the pygmy catfish house elves. All in all the tank was to small (lesson learned) and always remove inverts before using medication (lesson learned).

Thankfully the rummy nose tetras survived! GRYFFINDOR WINS THE HOUSE CUP!

So i upgraded to a 30g tank, got an electric blue ram as the centerpiece, because it enjoys the same water conditions as my rummy nose tetras, and made an awesome deathly hallows background.

I understand the ram would like to have a pair, but the fish store only had one. Maybe i'll find him a Madam Pomfrey one day.

Also my new dream centerpiece fish for this tank is a blue discus. Which i understand can be in a 30g tank for around a year. I am also considering adding a neon blue goby. If not the goby maybe kuhli loaches or pygmy catfish again. Any suggestions?

    Currently the tank is:
    7 Rummy nose tetras
    1 electric blue ram
    red ludwiga
    java fern
    java moss
    a sponge filter
    and a HOS filter.

Please disregard 30 rock playing in the background. One day i will take a nice video with my nice camera, get rid of the glare, and play harry potter music in the background.
