  1. Default returning Tiger Barbs

    The Fish I have currently:

    2 Bala Sharks (1 in or 1 1/2)
    2 Tiger Barb
    2 White Skirt Tetras
    2 Pearl Danios
    2 Candy Cane Tetras
    1 BN Pleco 4 inches

thought it was the Balas acting aggressive and may have bit the tail of one of the Pearl Danios

lost one of the White Skirt Tetras

spoke w/local fish store rep and returning the Tiger Barbs tomorrow...one of them was eating way lots and even compared to same sized Tiger barbs at Fish Store, he looks like hes been eating lots

Hi! Were you asking a question or just venting? Looking at some of your other posts I take you have a 30 gallon tank? I'm not sure if anyone has already commented on your stock, but all those (with exception of the pleco) are schooling fish and prefer (IMO) at least 5 of each. Also those Bala Sharks can get big and I've read their fast, aggressive swimmers - would think they would want some serious "fin-room" to swim in. IMO, along with the barbs you should take the sharks back and up the tetras and danios. Also noticed you don't have much information in your profile about your aquarium, you would help others here with any questions you may have if you had this information readily available. Besides it's a pain to keep posting information people ask for in each thread you create.

I would agree with the above

You current situation is most likely due to inappropriate stocking of schooling fish and fish not suited for a smaller tank
If you take your time to do the research FIRST, you can successfully set-up and keep ANY type of aquarium with ease.

    Never trust a Tiger Barb.

returned them today and got 2 tetras instead, they seem to be getting along

ordered a cave for the 4 inch Pleco, i don't understand why have a fancy looking ornament if its not functional for the fish and trying to stick to that

What kind of tetras, and why only 2?

All tetras need to be in groups of 8, at the very least
