I do not have a saltwater tank, but i was just wondering if it was possible to keep opah in aquariums.

maybe in a public aquarium they get huge.A true aquarist knows what it feels like to step on a sharp piece of gravel

I think if someone thinks clownfish are called nemos they should banned from keeping sw tank.

it is a very, very big, pelagic deepwater fish with a poorly understood life history and requirements.
Its size alone would make things extremely difficult. the fact that it is pelagic and from deeper water may mean that a hypothetical captive opah will need a specialized enclosure (pelagic species are really bad at dealing with tank walls/obstacles because they are used to open space).
As far as I am aware of opah have never been kept in captivity, probably never will be and certainly not by private aquarists.
