    Default walstad bowl

Ok I was just wondering if anyone on here has a walsad bowl or walstad tank? Because I wanted to make one after I move, and upgrade my tank, and turn current tank into a native tan, and then set up a crayfish breeding tank, then I want to set one up just to try it out, oh and if you have any pics of your tank like timeline pics or anything.

I don't see how you keep up with your projects. Cause I sure can't. HAHAHa I have a walstad tank for my betta. Sand cap with crypts growing. I don't really have progress pics because I didn't set it up that long ago. Triton has a dirted tank and might be able to give you some better pointers.

You know what this tank needs? ........................ Crypts.

I've got a 4,5 litre shrimp bowl with no equipment.

Everything goes a bit slower. Rotala grows out of the bowl, shrimp have doubled their number now. Only that cyperus helferi shoot at the bottom of this pic hasn't made it and been swamped by algae.

My 55 Walstad. a little over a year old. Dirt sub w/sand cap, rotalla indica, dwarf sage, riccia moss, x-mas moss. Guppies, platys, neon, rummy nose, white fin rosy tetras, zebra danios, cloud minnows, and cherry shrimp. I let it do it's own thing!tank.jpg

The broad leaved one is java fern, likely a special variety with split leaf tips (cannot recall name)
