I have a ram which i believe to be a male GBR but i am not completely sure. He/she does not truly have a defined black dot for me to look at the blue scales. I don't know if there is a balloon version of the GBR but this ones body shape is different compared other ones that I've seen. Any help will be greatly appreciated thank you. The black dot can only been seen in certain angles and it still can barely be seen. Do they develop the black dot as they age? And I've only had him about two week and plan to get him a friend soon since the last one was lost to ich.

The body does look more circular, not like regular gbrs, I'd think it's a boy with it's pointy, long fins.
I watch fish. Really. I just sit and stare.
