    Default Suggestions for Corey Cats....

    0 Not allowed!
I'm going to buy some Corey Cats at the end of the month and I am trying to figure out which type I should buy. I had Panda Cory Cats a few years ago and they all died off. Loved them so much but am looking to buy a different kind this time around. I want hardy Coreys that are entertaining to watch so looking for some suggestions. Feel free to tell me about the Corey's you have and anything else you think I should know.

    Thanks!

Well i have had two lazer green corys absoulty loved them. But cost is high to have a school of six or more. Now we have three albino corys and 12 pigmy corys. The pigmys are in two tanks and i think they are too much pint sized fun. Another good thing with them the smaller size means more of them.
    Fishes go "pook pook"

I've kept several over the years and have many favorites, here is a couple that are both attractive and hardy.

    Start off with C. schwartzi.

I like my albino corys because they were the reason I took the time to try and understand albinism.
But there are lots of way cool corys out there.
Also really like the schwartzi as steeler58 mentioned.
Hope this doesn't come off the wrong way, but get a lot of what fits your budget and what you can source. 10 of anything are infinitely more happy and interesting than 2 of another.

Most cories are awesome community residents, but if it is boldness and hardiness you are looking for then wither paleatus or Aeneus are good choices.
