    Ha, thank you! I'm considering doing a journal. I think it would be a cool way to be able to look back and see all of the transitions the tank goes through.

    Welcome to the forum. I think a lot of us started out looking after fish badly...I know I did, and knew nothing of cycling a tank. My old fish book from the 70s doesn't make any mention of cycling tanks. Thank goodness for fish science, the internet and everything it has to offer an enquiring mind.
