    Hi guys,

Is this colour common on this plant? Went this colour in the last two days. Fairly certain it's due to increased iron and CO2.

No, that's just plenty of nutrients and CO2. This plant isn't very iron hungry. One of the reasons I like it is it's versatile. I've even got it growing out of the top of the planted bowl. Emersed it's different again.

Also look at it before lights on, you will see the top 3-4 inches will fold it's leaf closed.

Intriguing, thanks TD! I was under a mistaken apprehension then that all rotalas are iron hungry. Only the Macandra and Wallichi varients then?

I have seen that almost every plant I have closes late at night. The ludwiga inclinata is extremely pretty when it is like that.

Well, mine has never been iron hungry. I've got one growing out of the gallon bowl at that's in a setup with no particular fertilizer and certainly no iron.
