  1. Default CO2 : Compressed CO2 Tank Kits?

    0 Not allowed!
    Hi once again guys ....
for the past couple weeks i have been toying with the idea of trying my hand at a DIY CO2 system but after a ton of reading - ill be honest, i have given up the idea and have decided to invest in a proper compressed CO2 system. i gave up on the idea more than anything because of the need to have to maintain a DIY so regularly as well as the fear of not having the ability to regulate control / flow or shut it off and back on at will.
can u guys point me in the right direction ....
can you all share your thoughts on this >> "Semi-Automatic CO2 System"
    semi-auto.jpg <<
or maybe suggest something of equal or better quality / dependability?
    thanks all!

Do you have a link to what is pictured. I'd check craigslist for beer or soda brewing equipment, it's usually cheaper and would work fine.

do u have any examples of what youre suggesting that demonstrates how its used with respect to providing co2 for an aquarium? im all for saving some money so if what you're suggesting works - i'd be interested in exploring that option as well

I've don't have compressed co2 at the moment cause I couldn't afford it, I was going to do what I suggested and get a tank and reg off Craigslist meant for beer brewing but last minute I decided to go with excel instead for now. Pretty much any dual gauge regulator will work and co2 tubing, bubble counters diffusers can be had for cheap on eBay. The people over at aquticplantcentral are experts on co2 and could give you much better advice then I
