The temperature is about 85 degrees.

For the past two weeks the water was testing at about .25 ammonia .0 nitrite and .0 nitrates.

I have been cycling this tank for over three months...

Have you been dosing back to 1ppm? Or just letting it stay where it is at?

You know what this tank needs? ........................ Crypts.

    What size tank?
    What kind of filter?
What kind of ammonia, and how are you dosing?
What test kit do you use?
    Fishless cycle, correct?

I know the tank I am cycling right now didn't show any signs of cycling for 2 months and I got super frustrated! So I tore the tank down washed everything carefully and restarted my cycle completely. Within ten days I had nitrites, and ammonia was going down! I am now 21 days in with ammonia processing in 24 hours and large amounts of trItes and trAtes. Maybe a total tear down and rebuild would work in this case too?

Just to back up a bit...originally brought the tank at a lFS had all fish die after numerous missteps and misinformation from LFS restarted fishless cycle in March pretty sure it stalled...now since June the ammonia started to go down.

If you are showing nitrites and nitrates no need to tear the tank down!

Something else might be going on...how much bio-media do you have in your filter? If you bought a tank kit, you may not have enough bio-media in your filter to house enough bb to use all the ammonia that was added. Your filter should be rated for double the tank volume.

With both trites and trates in the tank, you are not far from cycled!

I would do a water change, test the water, then dose a half dose of fresh ammonia - in unconditioned/untreated water - and try it again.

the additives you are using (if you are) may be throwing your test results out of whack.

Did you change all the water? And yes, dose it...it should not be all zeroes...
