    Default Stocking suggestions

After lots of learning, and the trials and tribulations with being new to the hobby. Ive lost my favorite fish and want to make the community better. It's a 29 gallon tall, sand bottom, fake plants, a castle, and a small sunken ship.
    What's currently in the tank:
    1 platinum angel
5 white skirt tetras, 1 glotetra (gm wstetra)
2 rio tetras (considering rehoming they are the smallest in the tank)
    2 albino Cory
    1 emerald Cory
2 male platy, I won't rehome they were my daughters first fish
    And lots of ramshorn snails

What can I add? I have plans for more of each Cory. Having trouble getting them locally.

This just a suggestion. Get rid of the Angel and Platy and get a large school of Cory and Rio Tetras. Leave the school of skirted Tetras.
    Wife's Tank
    20 Gallon tall
12 plants with dual T5's and dry ferts- Iron, Potassium and CO2
6-Pygmy Cories, 4-Red Wag Platys, 6-X-ray Tetras 1-Scissor tail guppy.

    My tank
    120 Gallon
with 2 Florida Atlantic Stingrays and 12 Mystery Snails- soon as our couch is delivered.

My thought would be the following:

    1 Angel
    8 White Skirt Tetras
    8 Emerald Cory
    2 Albino Cory
2 Platy (rehome if you can but don't need to)

Otherwise I'd leave the stock as is - maybe do some live plants ;) <- sorry... shameless plug

I think you can do the cories. I wouldn't get anything else for the rest of the tank because that angel is going to get big and will need the space.

One thing I was told when I started here... the fewer # of different species in the tank the better it does usually

Since then my tanks have slowly become species (or close to it) only tanks

I really like how the sand worked out. Just
    Took time like everything else
    Does in the hobby

I'd get rid of the angel aaand the rio tetra and see about getting a few more cories and white skirts. I'd also consider restyling the tank to get sand for the cories at least.

    Just my 2 cents.
