Eeks, you do realize you keep linking to another forum?

I'm not trying to be nasty and realize just typing can be taken different ways because of no inflection of audio, but I don't need or want links, I can find that myself. Really nor do I want pontificating.

Ty. Getting agitated here. I already said what I have, water is a spring fed well.

No well water isn't our only option. We have well water, public water full of CHLORINE, fluoride, countless additives, alien water. But we choose well water.

I wish most of you well and Ty for the warm welcome but I signed for helpful suggestions, not to be sent to links that I could find myself,or to trying to "chastise".

And in the first paragraph of the link that you provide it says that, underlined, if you have well water you have to get rid of chlorine.

Perhaps you shouldn't link to that,
Chlorine is not a naturally actually in water but a man made substance to get rid of natural bacteria in water, thus as an additive well water doesn't contain it.

People were just trying to save you a little time, slap explained the cycle briefly, but to have a "cycled" tank means that the filters have bacteria growing in them

Treating well water isn't always necessary, depends if it has chlorine or chloramine in it, if so you need to treat it otherwise it will kill the beneficial bacteria you grow during the cycle

From the fishless cycle sticky I provided:

"Unless you have well water, you must always use a de-chlorinator."

"Unless" being the key word here.

People were wonderful, person not so much. And I was told ,or accused, of saving time. So people were trying To save you time. Uhh no,cause even though I never said I wanted that I was attacked for that.

I see that "slap" posts everywhere and has a fish ranking, how many of those people return?

And well water doesn't have chlorine! Chlorine is a man, made additive, that the gov says should be added to well water.

And, hmm, don't remember any unless in your posts. I do remember you asking if well water was my only option.
