  1. Default When to dose ferts after water change?

    0 Not allowed!
Hey guys. I'm confused on adding ferts and water changes.

I added new flourish, Excel, flora pride, and root tabs this morning. When I got home from work I needed to do a water change. So I did about a 40% or so wc.

Added prime and added water back. Now when do I add ferts again? Did the wc take all of what I dosed this morning out? Thanks

Depends but I would think it would take at least some out. I would get in the habit of dosing right after a water change. At least that is how I used to do it. That way the nutrients are in there the maximum amount of time before your next water change. The root tabs you shouldn't have to add for quite a while. As for the carbon supplements I'm not entirely sure if they need to be dose more or not I have yet to fool with them. I mostly dosed Iron.
Increasing your biodiversity increases your stability.

You know what this tank needs? ........................ Crypts.
