Journals are great for doing research and to get new ideas. For me, the research is the best part of a tank setup. Also check out your local public library. And of course, ask questions!

Today is payday AND I have gotten all the way thru to the current threads on Slap's EPIC 40B journal! I think I may treat myself to some browsing at either one of the lfs and/or libraries by way of a short detour on my way home.
I'd like to look for some crypts at the lfs. I read somewhere on these threads that's what this tank needs. (It's kind of like a subliminal message...) lol

Congrats on reading slap's epic uh story. I read your last night. Love the title. And the asian tank will look great planted keep up the good work.
I have learned a lot from reading the journals others have wrote. Like slap's, kevinVa, compass, gornlaura.
