  1. Default Mystery Snail feeding

    0 Not allowed!
Hello everyone. To my amazement, for the second night in a row, my one mystery snail has been eating an algae wafer from my hand, somewhat, when I press it up against the top of the wall of my tank. My question is my platys and mollies nip at him when he's down eating on the sand bottom. I'm wondering if I should isolate him at feeding time and feed separately. I don't like him being picked on like that. Thanks.

Eh, you can but those guys are going to forage for food all the time. So even if you feed him he'll still go after their food, or what is left of it. You can but only try and see if it changes anything.
Increasing your biodiversity increases your stability.

You know what this tank needs? ........................ Crypts.

The reason I brought this up is that the fish are nipping at the snail's body and I can see him flinch each time.
