Question Who won't eat my shrimp?

    0 Not allowed!
Setting up a 20L for my cherry shrimp. I have the Black Diamond blasting grit for a substrate. Looking at putting in 6 corys and 20 CPD. Do you think that the CPDs will eat my shrimp? What other fish would be okay and not molest my shrimp?

With the exception of algae eaters, you are pretty safe to go with the size of fish - basically any fish will eat what it can get its mouth around, plus a bit stick with small fish, which, in a 20L, you have to do anyway. Any fish will eat baby shrimp tho, unless you have java moss or something similiar for them to hide in.

Any mid-water fish will eat baby shrimp, Cory cats shouldn't bother them. Given enough plants/cover some baby shrimp may live long enough to grow out, or you could set up a 10 gallon with sponge filter to raise cherry shrimp separately to keep them going. You could also stock other species of nano fish with the CPD's, there are some very colorful rasboras and other danios around the same size.
