Maybe your danio is feeling lonely. Mine also chase, but they only chase each other, not the guppies. I didn't like my danios either, my father actually bought them. But I grew to love them... :)

Lol, you want less fish and I want more =). I think it's a real skill to be able to keep the right amount of fish. Maybe you can try donating your danio to a store (if you don't want it any more). Who knows... =)

If you want more fish, you need a bigger tank. A bowl isn't suitable for anything to live in unless it's heated with water changes every day, and even then only the smallest of fish can live there. It's not a good grow-out tank.

You may think you have the physical space for more fish, but the problem comes with the filtration. You will not be able to grow enough beneficial bacteria to convert all the waste into less harmful substances. Even if you were to over filter enough, the nitrate levels will rapidly rise to levels that are unsafe in a very short time. Guppies are one of the most waste-producing fish, and every fry that you get is adding to your bioload. You might see a 10g tank with 20 neons, but you bet that tank is highly filtered and the water is changed regularly and frequently.
20 gallon with a male betta, neons, glowlights, and red cherry shrimp. (work in progess) Recently added a few LIVE plants and driftwood, Woooohoooo!

Yeah yeah I know but my filter is rated for 60 gallon so I think it can handle the waste and my snail and kuhli loaches eat a lot of leftover stuff and have a asain clam for filter feeding, and I am going to sell the fry once grow enough to be in a tank with fish the size of full grow ones

I think Azure was addressing the OP, and I couldn't agree with his statements more

We still have no idea how this 12 gallon is filtered, even though I asked...but it doesn't really matter
