You're welcome - and thanks for the nice words. I love this fixture and have another 48" on my dual 29s. My fish like subdued lighting and with this unit I can provide that. My 40 gal river tank build will also have a 48" unit.

I haven't stocked the dual 29s yet - hopefully in the next 2-3 weeks. Had a large vet bill for one of my cats (she's okay), so the fish purchase got pushed back a bit. This will be the most $$$ (about $227 with shipping) I have spent on fish at one time, so I am taking my sweet time to make sure I am getting the right fish in the right numbers.

Yes, 12 Amanos for each tank.

Right tank - 25 Black Neon Tetras & 12 Amano Shrimp

Left Tank - 9 Diamond Tetras, 12 Amano Shrimp and a Blue-Eyed Albino BNP

No mystery snails for the left tank as the dGH in that tank will be below their minimum requirement.

Sorry to hear about the vet bill, but glad the kitty is ok. I'll be looking forward to seeing the pic now. I had been considering diamond tetras when I was thinking of a South American tetra theme. I think I may still be considering them even with the Asian theme. :-)
I think it's neat that you'll be getting everything at once. I blew my budget with the new tank, gravel, filter and a few new ornaments. Now I have to try to be patient until I can get that fancy remote control light and more fishies.
Meanwhile thinking about setting the 10 gallon back up for plants and quarantine... just don't tell my husband. lol

Happy Independence Day, everyone! I have my very first live aquarium plant now - bought a potted anubias yesterday. They had several and I'm kind of kicking myself now for not buying a couple more. I guess I was thinking I wanted a variety of plants, but just couldn't decide what else I wanted. I also added a couple red honey gourami and 4 white skirt tetra (the lfs called them gold skirt tetra). I'll be going back to get a couple more of the white skirts. I was checking out the diamond tetras, but the white skirts have some sparkle to them too... and they have skirts... apparently I like girly fish. :-/
