mollies
Last night I bought a male calico dalmation molly. At the store he was displaying beautifully & chasing the females in the tank which is why I chose him (besides his BEAUTIFUL calico colors). This morning, he was floating sideways (still alive) in the tank. I've since removed him & put him into a 1 gal tank that I have to try & "fix" whatever may be wrong with him. What happened??? I have 3 females & all are doing fine.
Any ideas/suggestions???

Did you salt the tank? Aquarium salt in a large aquarium is best for mollies. The crazy behaviour in your tank may have been due to change in salinity from the holding tank at the store and your home tank. It's really hard to check for this.......Get him lotsof oxygen, moderate his temperature and good luck.
