Ok well its back I am soaking the plants I see it on in a peroxide water mix and cleaning terra cotta pots with peroxide and drying them outto kill on there, will otos eat it? Could this be a result of my nitrates being high? Should I clean filter stuff?

BBA isn't really affected by lighting so I doubt it would have a major effect.

Yeah but that's how its caused so I thought it would help and I took out alitte of the affected gravel, how should I get rid of it?

It's not really caused by light, either? It tends to be caused by fluctuating or too low of CO2 levels (eg if you're dosing excel maybe once a week, it will fluctuate, or DIY CO2 which is being changed too late and the CO2 is fluctuating, or just too low CO2 all together). Typically removal of it is through hydrogen peroxide or more often Flourish Excel - either double dosing in the tank for a sort amount of time, or dosing directly on to the BBA, or removing plants/decor and putting it in an excel "bath". Then try to keep your CO2 levels stable and perhaps dose excel daily from then onwards (plants will love it).

Ok so I am starting to notice bba again and I want to kill it completly this time because it killed all my moneywort and most of my hornwort and my pennywory that took forever to find so I was wondering if I did a complet tank clean I mean put fish in another container and put airstone in there and cleaned everything if it would kill the bba but I'm worried because my catfish just got stuck in rocks and ect you'll probaly see my thread about it but would it stress him/her to much and kill the at and would me cleaning all the gravel put me through a mini cycle?

Probably not. Can you cut the light down on your tank? Did you try using some hydrogen peroxide?

Yup I did a 72 hour blackout didn't do anything and I only keep lights on for 5 hours or so and now and then don't turn them on and I cut back on feeding, did hp soaked plants in it for 48 hours nothing and spot treated with hp after soaking plants and nothing! So I really want to kill it.
