Default Honey/Sparkling Gourami and Amano Shrimp

    0 Not allowed!
Whenever I am in the aquarium shop I keep noticing the Honey Gourami.

I already plan on getting two Sparkling Gourami and three Amano Shrimp, in addition to a school of Ember Tetras and a Assassin Snail.
However, If possible I would like to get two Honey Gourami.
My concerns are how do Honey and Sparkling Gourami's interact? Well? I have seen both are timid species in general. The other concern is of the Honey Gourami's interaction with the other inhabitants.

The honey gourami would be fine with the other inhabitants but I have learned that mixing different gouramis can be touchie. I think if there were two types of gouramis that would be able to live together those two would be it. But, you'll be playing with fire, never know what might happen. How big is the tank again?
Increasing your biodiversity increases your stability.

You know what this tank needs? ........................ Crypts.
