    Default 3 JD's & 3 green severums in 125g. Room for a nic?

I'm currently trying to re-home a 3" nicaragua cichlid that I have, and the person who wants it has 3 JD's, 3 Severums, and serveral of what she calls "rainbows" (she said their yellow, so could be certain boesmani raibows, or maybe rainbow cichilds, and she said they are 3" to 4" so again, could be either).

She will be taking a picture of her tank tonight to email to me so I can be sure it looks good (as far as hiding places, and some sort of confirmation that's really 125g, I've also asked for the dimensions).

She said all of the fish are docile, but of course that could always change. If the tank looked good (seems to have a place for the nic to call home) do you think this would work, or too many fish? Seems like a lot of fish but I haven't dealt with a tank that large, nor do I have much experience with JD's (housed some for a friend once) and no exp with severums.

Thanks for any input! I just want to make sure my nic is going to a good home.

I confirmed with her via email that the rainbows are indeed rainbow cichlids, but I may have misread when I thought she had "several" may only be one.

Could be fine or could be a disaster, just depends on the fish. Sexes would be helpful, but I suspect the JD's are going to be the issue. Severums are different enough in body shape that the JD's don't see them as direct competition, and the rainbow cichlid/s are generally pretty mellow. Nic's do like a relatively large territory for their size, and will max out on the small end of the stock already in the tank. If they had all grown out together in the tank they'd likely be alright, only way to know would be to try it though.

    ^^^^Please click the eggs/dragons, thanks.

I'm not sure about any of them except for the JD's , they can be very mean at times but that depends on their own personality , it could go either way . I guess it would be up to you if you wanted to give it a go but IMO IT COULD BE CATASTROPHIC !
ask ?'s and change some water pair of JD's and loving it.

I have seen sevs be monsters and then the ones i have are puppys... so really the only thing you can do is get everyone in the tank and watch. I think with the amnt of fish you are going to be fine.
