Oh it was terrible. It was his yearly check up and shots. He was running a bit of a fever (I think it was the heat of the car, AC doesn't work so well). So they didn't give him his shots and we'll have to go back. But they did take blood. The poor little fellow, I felt so bad for him. The doctor gave him a lollipop to suck on while they stuck him. He screamed bloody murder and bit on that lollipop like a bullet. I hate seeing him like that. Then I wanted to just hold him afterward but he was COVERED in lollipop drool. I had to wipe him all down before I could pick him up.

Yes. Though I don't know. It might be better this way. That could have been just too much all in one day for him. What annoys me is that they took his temp and it was 105!! Then ten minutes later they took it and it was 100.8. Why couldn't they wait a little longer and see if it dropped some more? If it really was the car making him hot then what is the point of going back another day? He'll just be hot again. Plus it is an hour drive to the doc.... ugh...

I wonder if she didn't check it right. He showed no signs of being that hot. Happy, perky little fellow. I mean he wasn't even sweaty in the car and he does sweat a lot some times. lol

He is teething so he could be running a bit of a fever but not that high.
