Ok so my grandparents are visiting today and my papa said he is going to set up his 55 gallon tank in a couple weeks and will let me come down when he is done cycling, but he wants a peters elephant nose fish and we are trying to find fish to go with it, the tank is 55 gallon tank I don't know any thing else about it I will keep updating.

Maybe Papa should join so he can tell us about his tank and we can talk to him. When I go fishing I just place a sharp rock in the water and sit there waiting for all the dead fish to float to the top... Kingfisher
Brutal honesty will be shown on this screen.
I think my fish is adjusting well to the four gallon, He's laying on his side attempting to go to sleep on the bottom of the gravel.
Tolerance is a great thing to have, so is the ability to shut up.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you.

Yeah, make sure he knows how hard these are to keep. Very specific parameters.Increasing your biodiversity increases your stability.
You know what this tank needs? ........................ Crypts.

Since they eat at night, you'd need to feed it just before lights out.
If you can find my culture manual (think its stikied in the food forum) it has instuctions how to culture four species of worm you'd need to feed the morymid.
You'd need to build a hiding place for it, since Peter's Elephantnose doesn't like bright light.
I assume you've seen them in my oddball primer stickied at the top of the other species forum.

Africa-wise, there's the little bushfish near the bottom of my Anabatoid primer in the goramie forum.
They are neat little fish, but a whole 'nother ball of wax feeding wise.
You might want to check them out.
