Hydor 15W Slim/Mini Heater causing air bubbles?
I have a small 5.5 gal Desktop tank at work and since I will be putting a Betta in it I knew I needed some heat. I purchased a 15w Hydor Slim heater and it is currently under a bed of 2 to 3 " of Seachem flourite substrate. Initially I had sand but changed this weekend for aesthetics. Since changing I have noticed occasionally an Air bubble will escape from the substrate close to the heaters location.
My assumption is the heard is creating bubbles from heating the water, then they gather to one large bubble and finally escape. I wanted to see if anyone had any similar experience, or any experience with the Hydro slim and finally what everyone's consensus on if this is safe.

Ok, I wasn't sure about the brand. I should have corrected that it should be looked into.
But I was thinking it could either be from the heater, or the plant roots, I know my heavy plant tanks let's the occasional small bubble go
