Had to euth my first guppy. Also, I have a tank bully. Help?
So I'm pretty bummed. We just humanely euthed my first guppy. He was a beautiful yellow cobra guppy with a long flowy tail.
He got some sort of fungus (I think) and his head and one eye got pale and cloudy looking. Almost fuzzy looking? Then his mouth seemed stuck open. He couldn't eat and I kept an eye on him for a few days and nothing changed. Poor gup I can't help but be bummed that I didn't treat it earlier. When I noticed his cloudy eye we did a water change and it got better. But then his mouth was stuck open. It is my first tank and I didn't know what else to do but not let him starve to death. Googling said it was too late for treatment, but I can't help but wonder if I could have saved him.
Anyways. I need advice on the tank bully. He is an orange guppy and he pokes at other fish and nips at their fins. The rest of the tank is guppies and a few neon tetras. he leaves the tetras alone, but the other guppies get poked and nipped by the orange guppy.
Should I bring him back? Will they want a bully back?!

What is the female to male ratio, he could be bullying because there are not enough females. It could also be the fish fighting out the hierarchy of the group. If the LFS will take fish back they will take a bully. When I go fishing I just place a sharp rock in the water and sit there waiting for all the dead fish to float to the top... Kingfisher
Brutal honesty will be shown on this screen.
I think my fish is adjusting well to the four gallon, He's laying on his side attempting to go to sleep on the bottom of the gravel.
Tolerance is a great thing to have, so is the ability to shut up.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you.
