We got our new to us tank earlier this week, transferred my daughters 3 fish into the 30 g with the 15 baby fancy tails and 1 adult fancy tail 3 days ago.. Now what's normal on water parameters? I searched but I'm mobile and didn't turn up much.

The only acceptable amounts of ammonia and nitrite is 0ppm. Nitrate should be below 20ppm, up to 40ppm is considered the highest level tolerated by most fish, but the lower the better. If you have any ammonia or nitrites registering, or more than 20ppm nitrate do a large water change.
If it's called tourist season why can't I shoot them?
Everything happens for a reason. Sometimes that reason is you are stupid and make bad decisions.

I think my fish is adjusting well to the four gallon, He's laying on his side attempting to go to sleep on the bottom of the gravel.
A moderator on a fish forum should be able to identify an oscar... Don't you think?

0 Ammonia, 0 nitrites, and anything lower than 20ppm in Nitrates. Testing to nitrates can be tricky the first few times. Follow the directions to the T. Shake like crazy.

Your PH is going to vary from person to person because that is associated with your tap water. Try the first PH test. If it comes up light blue (the farthest on the scale) try the High PH test and see what you get.
Increasing your biodiversity increases your stability.

You know what this tank needs? ........................ Crypts.
