So excited! Before I found this community I had a 5.5 gal tank for my daughter with a glotetra, and 2 platys. Today we have a new tank ! We had a 30 gal cycled tank with 15 fancy tail guppies fall into my lap. I'm adding the platys and glotetra to this tank and on recommendation of others in another thread I had we will be getting a few more glotetra and a few more platys. I'm changing my 5 into a betta tank and I bought a betta for me this morning. Loving this new hobby

As soon as I can convince him
He's ok. I planted the 5 gal up a little more and he's exploring. I can't seem to get a good picture of him.

I think you just have to wait until they are bigger for the baby guppies...or see if someone will buy them small.
20 gallon with a male betta, neons, glowlights, and red cherry shrimp. (work in progess) Recently added a few LIVE plants and driftwood, Woooohoooo!

    2-3" is pretty good size.

Check out post #912 on this link, it's my daughter's 10 gallon....we started with 2 females, because we wanted no fry...learned the hard way they can stay preggo for MONTHS after insemination, must have happened before we bought them...we've already donated fry twice, and they just keep coming

This is from a few weeks back, there's more in there now: http://www.aquaticcommunity.com/aqua...111494&page=23
